I am deeply disturbed by the attack on Senator Padilla. What is going on in this country? This isn’t a dictatorship. We don’t respond to questions from elected officials with violence. Congress must speak out against this and demand a full investigation into what happened, including the involvement of Secretary Noem and the security personnel. Will you take a stand and speak out? It’s unacceptable for lawmakers to remain silent in the face of such brazen abuse of power. Any inaction undermines the very freedoms Congress has sworn to protect. If Congress fails to denounce these dangerous tactics, it is turning its back on the Constitution and the American people.
