Two-state solution in Israeli-Palestinian conflict key to peace

The United States has heavily favored Israel in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, taking actions that undermine Palestinian rights and aspirations for statehood. The Palestinian cause has been betrayed by the normalization of relations between Israel and some Arab states. The Biden administration's policies are insufficient to challenge Israel's systematic oppression of Palestinians and illegal expansion of settlements in the occupied territories. Israel's violent security crackdowns and excessive force against civilians should be condemned. A just resolution requires dismantling Israel's apartheid system, ending the military occupation, and establishing a fully sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital and a right of return for refugees.
