The DOJ, which is in the Executive Branch under President Trump, just agreed to an out-of-court settlement of a $10B lawsuit brought by President Trump. Now it is official – nearly $2B of taxpayer dollars will be used to fund claims made by a relatively small and select group of Americans, namely those who feel they were aggrieved somehow by the “weaponization of government” during the Biden Administration. Never mind that the Russia Investigation was launched during President Trump’s first term. Never mind that a Senate Committee, which included now Secretary of State Marco Rubio, found that investigation was warranted. Never mind that the Trump DOJ started the investigations and charging of the now-pardoned individuals who stormed the Capitol on January 6th, and who later were indicted by grand juries and found guilty by trial juries of ordinary Americans. The existence and deployment of this slush fund, paid for in part by millions of hard-working Ohioans, is 100% CORRUPT. And for every minute of every day of every week of every month that you CHOOSE to say or do nothing about it, you are a party to that CORRUPTION. Which makes you just as CORRUPT as if you had done it yourself.   It is no coincidence that the framers made the Legislative branch Article I of the Constitution. As part of a co-equal branch of the federal government, you have an obligation to the voters you represent to do your job when you see problems with another branch. So do it!
