The $1.8 billion fund to pay for undefined victims of political weaponization is basically advertising that Trump supporters can break the law and get paid for it. This is an incredible abuse of power. Trump’s administration is self dealing, taking tax payer money to encourage illegal political action, while protecting their own interests from future political oversight. This settlement must be denied. If we have almost $2billion dollars in our federal budget, we can use it to help support schools, mental health services, housing efforts or a thousand other more worthy causes.
