Student Loans and Wage Garnishment

To: Rep. Van Orden, Sen. Johnson, Sen. Baldwin

From: A constituent in Stevens Point, WI

April 23

Garnishing wages, especially social security and wages from anyone earning less than 100k a year, over student loans is ridiculous. STOP HATING POOR PEOPLE. Especially people in poverty who attempted to get a better education to break the poverty cycle. Actually, STOP ATTACKING EDUCATION and EDUCATED PEOPLE. It's very clear that the current government believes "greatness" is found in blind stupidity, illiteracy, and becoming dead last in the world education ranking. But, to be clear, that is the wrong choice. The future will belong to the best, brightest, and most educated. Intelligence will rule the utopia. Too many elected officials REGRET having any education. That's a terrible shame, a stain on our country. Obviously, too many lack a decent education, especially in sciences such as biology and ecology. A problem that will only be made worse by cutting funding to schools, libraries, and museums. This new attack on Americans of wage garnishment is an atrocity. Don't let it happen. Please try to BE BETTER.
