War crimes against Iran
To: Pres. Trump
From: A verified voter in Marquette, MI

Regardless of politics, there are basic rules in war meant to protect civilians. You may avoid legal accountability today, but you will not escape judgment.
History has a long memory, and Donald J. Trump will be remembered for:
• Bombing a girls’ school in Minab, where children were among the dead
• Continued strikes that have caused civilian harm
• Attacks on infrastructure with predictable consequences for hospitals, water, and electricity
• Public threats that signal civilian systems and populations are acceptable targets
I condemn these actions. They fall short of the values our country claims to uphold.
