I am writing with extremely grave concerns about the illegal ICE arrest of Mahmoud Khalil the Columbia student activist who was arrested by ICE despite having a green card, and whose wife and attorney cannot locate nor contact him. The arrest, detention and “disappearing” of political dissidents is a hallmark of fascist regimes. This must be resisted immediately and strongly as this will spread and become commonplace. This is an extremely dangerous, lawless and repressive path. Please fight against this with everything you have. None of us are safe if this continues.
