I am writing to condemn the recent State of the Union address for failing to address the unresolved questions surrounding the Epstein files. I am also writing to condemn you for not pushing harder. The SOTU is live televised and many congresspersons used that exposure to make a statement against the atrocities that are happening on American soil. From signs to pins to literal shouts, other congresspersons reminded us they care.
The American public deserves transparency and accountability regarding those who enabled or benefited from Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes. Ignoring this issue signals indifference toward victims and undermines trust in our institutions. Justice requires full disclosure and meaningful action. Silence on this matter is not neutrality — it is neglect. Our leaders must commit to releasing the remaining records and ensuring that anyone implicated in exploitation or abuse is held accountable under the law.
