SAVE Plan gone - Squeezing every drop out of middle america

To: Rep. Hoyle, Sen. Merkley, Sen. Wyden

From: A constituent in Eugene, OR

December 17

I am going to suffer. With the removal of the repayment plan SAVE, my payments of $0, which keeps me afloat and able to pay for my car insurance and other expenses, will shoot up to $220. Where is that supposed to come from? How is this benefitting the economy? The republicans who push this agenda are squeezing regular citizens from every penny. I will have to cut back on donations to NPR, eating out at local businesses, and skipping one of my two vacations I have planned for myself. And for what? So I can have a degree that earned me a job making $50k a year? I am already struggling. Please, PLEASE, do something and take action; Propose reform, a new form of minimum payments, ANYTHING! I am devastated and heartbroken to feel so ignored by my representatives and that congress does nothing but help the rich. I hope and pray that you push this forward in your future agendas
