I’m writing because I’m so tired of gun violence killing children in our country. At school, which should be a safe place for children to go and learn and for teachers to work. It is devastating. It’s also beyond immoral that Congress has failed to act. Every single time. We need universal background checks, a federal ban on the purchase of high-capacity magazines and military-style assault weapons, and safe storage laws NOW. As a constituent, parent, educator, and concerned tax paying American, I DEMAND IT!
