I am writing to you as a constituent to urgently demand that you co-sponsor and support articles of impeachment against President Donald J. Trump. While previous resolutions, such as H.Res. 537, have rightly cited the President's abuse of power and unconstitutional actions , the recent revelations surrounding the Department of Justice's handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files provide a new and compelling justification for his immediate removal from office: an active cover-up of his own alleged involvement in a child sex trafficking ring. The evidence clearly points to a systematic effort by the Trump administration to conceal the truth. An NPR investigation has revealed that the Justice Department withheld and removed dozens of pages of FBI interviews from the public Epstein database. These missing files pertain specifically to a woman who accused President Trump of sexually abusing her as a minor . Despite the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates full disclosure, records of four FBI interviews with this accuser have been scrubbed from public view, along with related notes and documentation . This is not an administrative error; it is a deliberate obstruction of a congressional mandate. The gravity of the underlying accusations cannot be overstated. One accuser detailed that Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Trump when she was a minor, and that Trump subsequently assaulted her . Another victim’s FBI interview, which was temporarily removed from the database, describes Epstein bringing her to Mar-a-Lago as a young teen and presenting her to Trump, saying, "This is a good one, huh" . The President has a long and documented history with Epstein, and these allegations, now backed by evidence of a cover-up, demand a full and transparent accounting. This conduct goes to the heart of "high Crimes and Misdemeanors." By obstructing an investigation mandated by Congress and concealing evidence that implicates him in serious crimes, President Trump has demonstrated that he is a danger to the rule of law and is unfit to hold office . The abuse of power is not just about the past; it is happening now, in real-time, as his administration actively hides files to protect him from accountability. I urge you to act immediately. The integrity of Congress and our democratic institutions depends on your willingness to hold this President accountable. Please add your name to articles of impeachment and demand that the full, unredacted Epstein files related to Donald Trump be turned over to Congress immediately.
