This morning, ICE surrounded, pinned down, and executed Alex Pretti in cold blood. Yesterday, they used a 5-year-old child as a hostage to tear a family apart. Last week, they murdered Renee Good. There is no possible way to reform an organization that has become lawless and corrupt. A masked federal death squad that routinely violates the First and Fourth Amendments to the Constitution, ignores court orders, and covers up their crimes is not law enforcement; it’s just the Gestapo in updated uniforms. This is a constitutional crisis, and Americans are paying with their lives to try and stop ICE. You must act, or we will surely never be free of this corrupt administration. If you cannot convince the small number of Republicans that this must end by impeachment and removal of all involved, then your only moral choice is to shut down this government. For the sake of the citizens of Minneapolis, Chicago, Portland, and Los Angeles, please end this reign of terror and stop our fall into fascism.
