Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz should resign immediately for the dangerous breach of security that occurred under their watch. The blatant disregard for protocols and respect for the lives of soldiers that put themselves at risk to defend our country’s interests are astounding. If the highest offices in our nation are not held to a standard that prioritizes the safety and security of our nation’s sensitive information then how can they be expected to lead the largest fighting force in the world. Please demand that these civil servants resign so that trust and honor can be restored to these offices. As a citizen I need to know that competent people are running our country and adhering to the laws and standards that they are sworn to uphold and operate within. The breach that transpired on Signal is not only embarrassing but truly frightening as it shows the incompetence that exists right now at the highest levels of our government. Please find better qualified and more responsible leaders to ensure the safety and security of our troops and our nation. Thank you!
