Get rid of ALL the ID’d sex pests
To: Rep. Jayapal
From: A constituent in Seattle, WA
April 11
I’m frustrated that it looks like the House is settling into tit-for-tat expulsion resolutions for members who’ve been credibly accused of sexual assault or harassment (Dems supporting one against Gonzales and Mills, republicans supporting one against Swalwell and Cherfilus-McCormick). The Democratic Party should stand united against sex pests having governmental power.
Instead of this pointless tit for tat that makes both parties look the same, any member of the House could offer a privileged resolution to simultaneously expel Swalwell (D), Cherfilus-McCormick (D), Gonzales (R), and Mills (R) on a single combined vote. Please do this. I don’t care what party an offender belongs to; I want them all out. Thank you.
