During his annual routine check-in, ICE detained local Sonoma County man, Hector David Azana Vega, who was doing everything correctly, according to an article in our local paper, The Press Democrat, 7/31. He was ripped from his job in construction, his community and his longtime girlfriend, whom he also assisted with medical needs. Please take up his case and make it a national example of the horrific and immoral actions taken by this vile administration. There aren’t enough illegal violent criminals in this country for them to fulfill their arbitrary quotas , so they’re going after everyday people, trying to live their best lives. As far as we know, he’s in Arizona now, with no knowledge of what the future holds for him. Just unconscionable. Do something to force ICE to restore him to his community.
