Please DO SOMETHING to Stop ICE

To: Rep. Bynum, Sen. Merkley, Sen. Wyden

From: A constituent in Albany, OR

January 24

I am writing to you today in utter disbelief at the lack of decisive action by members of congress to intervene and stop President Trump and ICE's complete disregard for the constitution and the rights of US citizens. Two US citizens have now been murdered in broad daylight. These are literal Nazi Gestapo tactics. The constitution, which you swore to uphold, is being ripped to shreds right in front of our eyes. Talking about how you disagree and making public statements is not enough. We elected you to defend our rights and represent us at the federal level. It's time for members of congress to stand up and fight. Stage a sit in, shut down the capitol...do SOMETHING. This is not politics as usual. If we don't do something now...there won't be an election in November. At the very least, I urge you to support Rep Kelly's articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem. Reps Bonamichi and Dexter have already done so. We need to see more. We need to do more. I'm begging you to do something...anything to slow or stop this madness.
