Apalachee High School deserved better. I am a Christian, a father, a parent in Georgia Public Schools whose kid has been traumatized by lockdown drills. I beg you Governor, please put an actionable plan in place so that I don’t have to keep wondering if my son and daughter will come home alive from my neighborhood school. No more thoughts and prayers. The current cycle of school shooting and then doing nothing is dystopian and unsustainable.
