An Open Letter

To: Sen. Cassidy, Sen. Kennedy, Rep. Johnson

From: A verified voter in Ball, LA

February 15

24th Amendment The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other elections for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, SHALL NOT BE DENIED OR ABRIDGED BY THE UNITED STATES OR ANY STATE BY REASON OF FAILURE TO PAY ANY POLL TAX OR OTHER TAX. I think making people paid for anything to be able to vote, like a passport, purchasing birth certificates, specials IDs, could be concerned such a "tax". Making a law that would cause any women to lose her right to vote because she took her husband's name, would be abridging her right to vote. NO SAVE ACT. It is that simple. Voter suppression is wrong.
