I urge you to stand against the harmful executive order restricting gender-affirming care for transgender children. This medically-necessary, evidence-based treatment is supported by major medical associations and improves mental health outcomes for trans youth. Denying access will have devastating consequences, including heightened risk of self-harm. Providers are already facing difficult situations advising distraught families. This order discriminates against a vulnerable population and flies in the face of scientific consensus. I implore you to take action to ensure transgender children can access the care they need without federal overreach.
