This is an outrageous overreach of federal power and a blatant violation of states' rights. Deploying the Ohio National Guard to Washington D.C. to enforce an illegitimate takeover of local law enforcement sets a dangerous precedent. The National Guard exists to protect our communities, not act as a tool of authoritarianism. I urge you to reject this unlawful order and stand up for democratic principles. The people of Ohio did not elect you to aid in the dismantling of local governance and the imposition of one-man rule. Withdraw our troops immediately and defend the Constitution you swore to uphold.
