Congress must take action soon to effect the return of all the people sent to the CECOT Prison in El Salvador. It doesn’t matter their legal status or whether they are criminals. All of them should be returned to US soil and the immigration and/or legal criminal process should be followed to determine the next steps. It is unconscionable that not only was the law broken and people were imprisoned without due process but that there are truly innocent people caught up in this nightmare, like Andry Romero and Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
