I am writing to thank the Senator for voting no on the current NDAA, S. 2296, as amended, which was loaded with anti-trans and anti-DEI provisions. The current Republican push to end DEI is a criminal denial of our nation's history of discrimination, and I urge you to continue to fight for race, gender, and sexual orientation-based inclusion and equity programs. Also, trans people's lives depend on accessing gender-affirming care, and their livelihood and even their lives depend on protections and inclusion. Thank you for voting against these attacks and I urge you to continue this fight.
