The UN commission of inquiry released their report today 9/16/25 determining that Israel has committed four out of the five acts of genocide as defined under international law since the events of 10/7. Those acts are: 1) killing members of the group 2) causing the group serious bodily and mental harm 3) deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to destroy the group 4) preventing births Israel has killed at least 64,964 people - a vast undercount by study estimates released in the Lancet. Most of the population has been repeatedly displaced. More than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed. The healthcare water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed. UN-backed food security experts have declared famine in Gaza city. In light of this report concluding that the death and destruction we see is a genocide, the US must impose a FULL AND COMPLETE arms embargo of Israel. ALL weapons of war - both offensive and defensive - must be cut off to Israel. As an American we have laws - the Leahy law that must be enforced. Our tax dollars are funding this evil. We are showing the world that we don’t just stand by while such evils are being committed but fueling them. As a human being my heart is broken on a daily basis watching some new fresh hell being reported. Israel feels safe conducting such acts against humanity from behind the iron dome shield. A powerful tool that’s being used to protect a nation conducting a genocide - without which, it just might reconsider its belligerence. It’s with a heavy heart that I urge you to stop ALL ARMS from being given. The violence must stop. The genocide must stop. Thank you.
