Unchecked aggression toward Venezuela & Greenland weakens the US

I am writing to express serious concern about the administration’s actions toward Venezuela and Greenland, which are weakening U.S. power and undermining the rule of law.
The use of military force against Venezuela without clear congressional authorization violates the Constitution and the War Powers Act. Bypassing Congress erodes accountability, destabilizes U.S. commitments, and sets a precedent that concentrates power dangerously in the presidency.
At the same time, threats and pressure directed at Greenland disregard national sovereignty and strain critical alliances. This coercion pushes our allies away, benefits adversaries, and leaves the United States more isolated and less secure.
As Vice President and President of the Senate, you have a responsibility to uphold constitutional limits and defend Congress’s role in matters of war and foreign policy. I urge you to demand transparency, support meaningful oversight, and help prevent further damage to U.S. credibility and security.
