VOTE NO on H.R.673 - ICE Security Reform Act of 2025

To: Rep. Ciscomani, Sen. Gallego, Sen. Kelly

From: A verified voter in Tucson, AZ

January 22

As your consistent voting constituent, I understand Congress has until January 30 to fund H.R.673 - ICE Security Reform Act of 2025, the DHS ICE bill & Republicans do not have the 60 votes they need. I among millions remain traumatized by ICE Agent Johnathan Ross shooting an unarmed woman in the face & briskly walking away seemingly unharmed as other ICE agents refused to allow a medical doctor to attend to her & blocked ambulances from responding to her. She had a pulse for 8 minutes. This action is inhumane. It is reported an internal memo from ICE officials directs agents they are authorized to break down any door — US citizen homeowners or not — without a warrant. They are brutalizing people on camera on the street, dragging pregnant women (hey, at least she didn’t abort!) by their hair, pepper spraying high school students, dragging US citizens in their underwear out into the freezing cold with only shorts and a towel, blinding 6 year olds & using 5 year olds as bait. What is this? If you vote for this bill, one can only assume you support such barbaric behavior seen in third world countries. We are certainly no better. The agency is spiraling out of control. It’s time for an overhaul. I ask that you not vote for H.R.673 - ICE Security Reform Act of 2025 and that you demand an immediate review of its tactics.
