Sir, I have been warning about trump and his ambitions to turn the US into a dictatorship since he campaigned in 2016. Now, he's got the Republicans in Congress fully on board with facilitating his every dictatorial whim. He's destroying the economy, our security, our industries, the environment, is dissecting our healthcare system, trying to bring higher education under the federal government, and is killing off free speech bit by bit. If Republicans still believe in a democratic constitutional republic, it isn't apparent to the public. They appear to have abrogated all of their authority to trump and his incompetent and corrupt regime. I don't know what you can do about it, but something must be tried. ... Get those Epstein Files released and expose his association with Epstein's sex trafficking and money laundering with Russians through real estate. Or would Republicans brush it off like they've done with extorting Zelenskyy, insurrection, his fake electors scheme to turn the election, coercion of Georgia officials to attempt changing the election results........ Do we just ride this out until midterms and hope that the election isn't screwed with and that Dems regain a majority? How much damage can he wreak in a year? I've been watching this authoritarianism creeping in for a decade, and am now musing when is the point where I must make arrangements to leave the country and how to go about it. I'm writing to urge you to take our current situation seriously. ~ H.
