I’m writing as a proud Kentucky public school graduate who cares deeply about protecting and improving our public education system. The Department of Education has illegally frozen more than $6 billion in federal K-12 education funds that was congressionally approved. I’m worried Kentucky’s kids will fall behind without the funding for educators, especially in rural and low income parts of the state. Congress needs to assert their constitutional authority and demand the immediate release of all frozen federal education funds. Please get this money released right away. Thanks.
