Here we are in 2025… - Wealth disparity surges among Americans - Building wealth in corporate America is nearly impossible when increases are minuscule compared to inflation - Layoffs while recording profit - Representatives in the legislative and executive branches waving blatant corruption in our faces - Poverty running rampant - Constant warring with other countries - Minimum wages are a joke - Monopolies exist across industries - News is bias - Misinformation, which is lying, is permitted - Our government treats corporations like living humans - Dark money flows into politics - Foreign interests influence our elections and policy - The education system is failing our country and it is expensive - A pedophile ring is controlling our government and no one is being held to account - ICE has murdered two Americans (that I know of) - ICE is buying up large swaths of buildings to house thousands and they’ve purchased incinerators (?) - Trickle down economics had 50 years to prove its worth and its failed - The government is targeting minority communities because someone is Hispanic or trans or whatever - Fighting with and penalizing our allies - Members of the executive branch lying under oath - Terminating employment of our people with our FBI and other agencies during crises - Redacting the Epstein files in and displaying the names of victims in violation of the law - Tariffing our allies for no apparent reason - Choosing not to meet in the middle - Choosing chaos over harmony - Violating the gospel and insulting Jesus Christ through abomination exercised in his name - Demonizing people with whom we should seek understanding and choose friendship - Turning our neighbors against each other - Choosing to repeal regulations meant to protect us and our future - Obvious events that are without a doubt treason, sedition, and high crimes and misdemeanors Accepting this as the status quo gains us nothing but hurt. This is not a long-term sustainable solution; frankly, it’s wrong and not working. If this is the path we continue down, then the overwhelming majority of us will suffer. Have we not learned what works and doesn’t work yet? We have insurmountable systemic issues that need solving. The second and third order effects of these decisions are not just damaging, but catastrophic. We need real solutions. Congress and the executive branch keep trying to solve old problems using old methods. Tariffs… everyone learned in high school tariffs are strategic weapons NOT to be thrown out like candy at a parade. We deserve better than this. This has to stop. My generation (millennials) and the ones following us do not want to make the same mistakes as the generations before us and we don’t want to be forced to live with their mistakes. Their decisions have been shortsighted. Our decisions need to be long term and endure so we can procure and build a future worth living for. We have countless options available to us that create win-win situations and everyone gets what they want in a peaceful, mutually agreeable way at home and abroad. But, how we are doing it today? No. It won’t work.
