I am writing as a concerned PA citizen regarding the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). DOGE was created without Congressional approval, making its operation illegal. It is not a department of the federal government and yet is currently acting illegally by pushing government officials to retire or quit and demanding access to federal agencies’ data systems without the authority to do so. I believe DOGE is a threat to our democracy, specifically the separation of powers, and should be dismantled immediately.
