I write to you today not only as a concerned citizen of West Virginia, but as someone who expects our elected and appointed officials to honor the constitutional oath each of you took upon assuming office.
The people you represent are watching—and we will not forget your choices, your actions, or your silence in moments when leadership is required most. It is not enough to wear the title of public servant; you must act as one. Upholding the Constitution is not optional. It is your duty, and failure to do so—whether through negligence, political convenience, or willful complicity—is a direct betrayal of the trust the people placed in you.
We are tired of excuses and platitudes. We demand action, integrity, and courage. Step up, fulfill your oath, and do what is right—not what is easy or politically expedient.
