Stop the invasion of Venezuela

To: Sen. Blunt Rochester, Sen. Coons, Rep. McBride

From: A verified voter in Lewes, DE

January 3

I am deeply troubled by the apparent military activity in Venezuelan. Congress must act to restrain executive authority on invading a sovereign nation. This is not the America I want to live in. Congress has the right to declare war not the president. Please make him stop attacking Venezuela. This is of course made worse that his actions are based on unsubstantiated claims of Venezuela drug traffickers involvement in the US drug trade, which is a flimsy excuse to invade. If Congress does not assert its authority I am concerned it may be yet another blow to our democracy. We must uphold democratic ideals and balance of power.
