I just read this in The Washington Post: “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday that the Pentagon will formally censure Sen. Mark Kelly and launch administrative proceedings against the Arizona Democrat to consider whether to reduce his Navy rank in retirement, the latest twist in a weeks-long dispute about the lawmaker’s political commentary.” I am VERY disturbed and angered. Mark Kelly stated the law; that members of the military should refuse unlawful orders. Not only is this the TRUTH, it is also his First Amendment right to speak up as well as his moral authority as a U.S. Senator. I hope you are as disturbed and angered as I am. You are former military and now a Senator. You should stand up for Mark Kelly and stand by him publicly. What will you do, Senator?
