You gave Trump permission to pursue his illegal war with Iran (making you complicit). What have we got from it so far? Many people dead — both ‘legitimate’ targets and innocent civilians. Infrastructure destroyed. A very tentative ceasefire that seems to give more benefits to Iran than America. The reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Before the war, ships could go through the Strait for free. Now they will have to pay for the privilege. Meanwhile, Israel is continuing with their version of the war, imperiling the ceasefire. And Trump and Hegseth continue to lie and gaslight Americans about all of it. This war was unnecessary and destructive in more ways than Trump could imagine. Iran has come out in a stronger position with more leverage. Our allies recognize that Donald Trump is an inexperienced, unreliable loose cannon they cannot trust. America is seen as a rogue nation rather than a law abiding country. America is less safe, less honorable and less reliable. I am ashamed for my country. I am angry that you went along with all of this.
