Remove ICE from Sacramento

To: Sen. Ashby, Gov. Newsom, Asm. Krell

From: A constituent in Sacramento, CA

October 28

Remove ICE from Sacramento As a citizen and member of many communities within Sacramento, it is disgusting to see ICE kidnapping fellow community members in broad daylight causing terror to our neighborhoods. People are afraid to leave their houses. Businesses that are already struggling will suffer even more because people are afraid. Even CHILDREN are not safe! This is not the Sacramento I believe in. We are supposed to be a sanctuary city, but allowing ICE to treat everyone like criminals without any ounce of dignity or due process is ridiculous. They are also covering their identities in order to terrorize us. REMOVE ICE FROM SACRAMENTO I condem ICE activity in our streets- it's been doing nothing but tear our community apart and they need to leave the city ASAP.
