An Open Letter

To: Gov. Abbott

From: A constituent in Plano, TX

August 25, 2025

KEEP FEDERAL TROOPS OUT OF TEXAS. Do not allow a needless deployment of the National Guard in Texas. The people of Texas DO NOT WANT THIS. Crime rates are down all over the state (and the country). We have local law enforcement that is perfectly effective. We do not want Donald Trump's personal army in our streets. Texas Taxpayers sure as hell don't want our tax dollars being wasted for unnecessary troops. Stop bending the knee to everything ridiculous whim Trump's weak old brain spits out and get back to doing what's right for the people of Texas.
