I’m writing about the arrest of Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan, which I find extremely alarming. The decision by the DOJ and the FBI to arrest a sitting judge fits into a deeply concerning pattern of lawless behavior from the Trump Administration that threatens our system of checks and balances and Americans’ fundamental freedoms. Trump is not a king. His relentless and dangerous attacks on the judicial system, from flouting court orders to targeting judges with whom he disagrees, must cease immediately. This calculated political theater is designed to intimidate judges who don't do what Trump wants. It’s outrageous and it needs to stop. I want the Congressmember and Senator to call for the charges against Judge Dugan to be dropped at once. Thanks.
