Vote NO to harmful bill HB229

I must urge the Texas House to vote NO on HB229. This legislation is a violation of women’s rights - placing legislation on gender/sex terminology and how it applies to important spaces is a violation of our privacy, opens the door to much more harmful legislation around women’s bodies, and blatantly discriminates against women, trans people, non-binary people, and more. This could have catastrophic consequences and is a clear slippery slope to violating HIPAA. Please vote NO to HB229. Thank you for your time.
