Vote no on Todd Blanche's confirmation. Senators on both sides of the aisle are already raising serious questions about his independence, and those concerns deserve to be taken seriously — not dismissed in the rush to confirm. A person in this role must be able to act without fear or favor, and the doubts being raised suggest Blanche cannot meet that standard. Independence isn't optional for this position. It's the whole job. Confirming someone whose impartiality is openly questioned by members of both parties would undermine the credibility of the office from day one. I expect you to hold the line and vote no.
