The budget bill will destroy our country — vote against it!

The budget bill passed by the Senate is a disaster for the country, and for Indiana. You must oppose it.
The bill will add even more to our soaring national deficit — it is already unsustainable.
The bill would result in massive cuts to Medicaid and SNAP benefits, hurting some of the most vulnerable in our state (and country).
The cuts to the energy independence provisions will hurt our consumers, industries, and environment.
Section 70302 is a contemptible move to reduce the judiciary’s oversight of the administration’s illegal and unconstitutional actions. Given the administration’s blatant disregard for civil and human rights and the GOP’s passivity, the courts need MORE authority, not less, if there is any hope of keeping our democracy.
If you were to adhere to your oath of office, you would seek to increase the taxes on the wealthy rather than take away more from the poor. Of course, if you were serious about your oath of office and cared about the future of the country, you wouldn’t support the current administration’s lawless abuses of power, assaults on science, education, and civil rights, and alienation of our allies.
Unless you start exhibiting courage and willingness to push back, the United States will become a 3rd-world country, if it survives at all. Represent your constituents and honor your oath of office. Grow a spine. Stop being a rubber stamp for destruction, and DO YOUR JOB!
