I married in 1972. Divorced in 1974. Remarried in 1983. I adopted my ex-husband’s name as my legal middle name and my second husband’s last name as my legal last name. My current legal name was good enough for driver’s license, passport, Social Security, Medicare, and credit cards, But it doesn’t match my birth certificate. Last year I paid $600 for a court issued legal name change to prevent the issues now facing women like me if the SAVE Act passes. Save us from SAVE!! Vote no!
