I am writing to express my outrage regarding the Department of Justice’s blatant failure to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump signed into law on November 19, 2025.
According to reports from Democracy Docket and other news outlets, the DOJ has missed the December 19 statutory deadline to release all unclassified records, documents, and investigative materials related to Jeffrey Epstein. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has admitted that the department is only releasing a "fraction" of the materials today, with the rest to follow on a "rolling basis"—a delay that is not permitted under the strict 30-day timeline explicitly mandated by Congress.
This is not a matter of administrative backlog; it is a violation of federal law. The Act was clear: all responsive documents were to be made public by today. By failing to meet this deadline, the Executive Branch is effectively vetoing a law after it has already been enacted, undermining the authority of the Legislative Branch and the will of the American people.
The public has waited decades for the truth about Jeffrey Epstein’s network of associates. This "incomplete release" only serves to fuel suspicions of a cover-up. As my representative, you have a duty to uphold the rule of law and ensure that no administration is above the statutes passed by Congress.
If you are not calling for the impeachment of President Trump or his cabinet over this direct breach of the law, the public is left with no choice but to assume that you, or your colleagues, are personally incriminated by the very files being withheld.
The time for excuses has passed. I urge you to:
1. Publicly demand the immediate and full release of all remaining Epstein files without further delay or unlawful redaction.
2. Support articles of impeachment against the President for his administration’s refusal to follow the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
3. Initiate immediate oversight hearings to hold Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Attorney General Pam Bondi accountable for this defiance of a congressional mandate.
I will be monitoring your public statements and voting record on this matter closely as I consider my support in the upcoming election.
