I am writing as your constituent to urge you to stop the Trump administration from tying FEMA and DHS disaster funds to unrelated election demands. Disaster aid must be based on public safety need, not political compliance. Families facing hurricanes, floods, fires, tornadoes, and storms should never be used as leverage for Trump’s far-right election agenda. I urge you to demand that DHS and FEMA rescind these restrictions, protect disaster survivors, respect state election authority, and keep emergency funding free from partisan coercion.
