I am trying to understand why you have abdicated your responsibility as a Senator. How can you reject the resolution to limit the President’s ability to strike Iran without authorization from Congress? That’s your job! Congress is supposed to authorize war powers yet, like everything else you’ve done, you have given your power away to the Executive Branch. We no longer have 3 separate but equal branches of government. Thanks to you and your fellow republicans, we now have an authoritarian form of government instead of a democracy. You are supposed to be representing the people. Why aren’t you? Why have you given away our democracy? History will judge those of you that enabled a dictator to destroy our democracy. Please stand up for us before there’s no going back. Stop him!
