I’m writing to urge you to ensure that if we see ICE assaulting or arresting people in Michigan with no due process that you will push to prosecute any ICE agent who does anything to a Michigan citizen unlawfully. There have been multiple videos posted to social media showing ICE agents assaulting lawful protestors, or harassing American citizens. This is unacceptable and they should face state charges if they do anything of the sort in Michigan. Protect your fellow Michiganders and ensure ICE will face justice if they break the law.
