We the People, of the United States of America, hereby call upon call on the Republica, Independent, and Democratic members of Congress to fulfill their obligations TO US, to their oaths of office, to the Constitution of the United States, to the laws established by Congress, and to international laws. The history of the present President “is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states” (Declaration of Independence, 1776), over other countries, and most importantly, over us, We the People, of this great country. “To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world” (Declaration of Independence, 1776). Quoting and invoking the language of our Declaration of Independence (1776), which is so relevant to this day, we submit below a list of our grievances to Congress regarding our would-be King: • “He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.” • “He has forbidden” his Republican Colleagues “to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.” • “He has endeavoured to prevent” populations within our borders; “for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners;” and obstructed those populations from becoming naturalized citizens by either birth right or the peaceful pursuit of asylum by existing laws, and by executive order establishing barriers to discourage legal migrations hither. • “He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.” • “He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.” • “He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass” (and even kill) “our people.” • “He has kept among us, in times of peace,” National Guard troops, ICE Officers, and other federal officers, “without the consent of our legislatures”, state governors, or municipal mayors. • “He has affected to render the Military” and his enforcement officers “independent of and superior to the Civil power” established in the constitution, even ordering them to commit murder on the high seas and defending them when they commit murder of Americn citizens on the streets of our cities. • He has executed orders from his office “and combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:” o “For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:” o “For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:” o “For imposing” tariffs “on our Trade with all parts of the world:” o “For imposing these” tariffs “on us” as taxes “without our Consent:” o “For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of” due process “and Trial by Jury:” o “For transporting us beyond Seas to be” imprisoned “for pretended offences” with no due process or respect for domestic and international laws: o For invading Venezuela, a sovereign nation, by military action without any declaration of war or the consent of Congress, “for abolishing the free system of laws in “ this neighboring country, “ establishing therein an Arbitrary government:” o For threatening similar invasions of other sovereign nations or lands such as Greenland, Gaza, Canada, Panama, and Iran without the consent of Congress: o “For taking away our charters, violating our most valuable state laws, “and altering fundamentally the Forms of our” state and federal “Governments:” o For enriching himself, family, friends, and donors in direct violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution and other laws: o For frivolously declaring national emergencies in order to suspend the rule of law: • “He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.” • He has removed environmental protections established by Congress, allowed the plunder of our seas, air, and lands for oil exploration and other for-profit endeavors, endangering the health and welfare of our People and the Peoples of the world. • He has threatened the integrity of our elections by pressuring governors and election officials to find votes and replace certified electors with false electors sympathetic to his view in order to steal the authentic votes of the people. He has pressured state legislatures to redraw district maps to limit representation of voters he sees as enemies, to limit access to polls, to purge voter registration rosters, to limit the time allowed to process votes, and to eliminate voting by mail. Furthermore, he has stated to the President of Ukraine, “So you mean if we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections? Oh, that’s good” laying the ground work for starting a war and canceling OUR elections • He has fired countless federal employees whose job it is to oversee his actions and hold him accountable to our constitution, our laws, and our People and replaced some of them with officers who will do his bidding without regard to the Constitution. • He has threatened the independence of the Justice Department, the Federal Reserve Bank, the FBI, the Press, universities, museums, and numerous agencies of the federal government by replacing leaders with his loyalists or pursuing frivolous legal battles with those who won’t bend to his will and or who have earned his disfavor by exercising their freedom of speech to discredit him. • He has closed or reduced agencies funded by congress without congressional approval, denying the People of the U.S. and the World essential services established by Congress. He has threatened to deny funding approved by congress for critical research and science essential to advancing our countries status as a world leader. • He has destroyed public property, emblazoned his name on our public property, without the consent of Congress or the people and without respect to history. • He has built concentration camps to hold people, both citizens and non-citizens, denying them legal representation, due process, and liberty. Many of the people are disappeared beyond our borders without notice to family or the means to return to their homes in this country or other homelands. • “He is at this time transporting large Armies of agents to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.” • “He has constrained our fellow Citizens to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.” • He has threatened invoking the Insurrection Act with the intent of increasing his powers and evading the legal restraints to his office and denying us, the People, their just rights and liberties. • He has been accused and convicted of sexual assault, been tried and convicted of multiple felonies against our state laws, and been impeached for his actions in office and is therefore unfit for the office of President. • He has alienated our sacred defense allies exposing us and them to threats from enemies and forced our trading partners to forge other trade alliances threatening our economic stability. • “He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us.” This list of grievances grows every day. We have walked in peaceful protest and signed numerous petitions for redress to no avail. We are a country of LAWS and hold that no Person is above the law. We do not intend or desire to repeat our history. We declared our independence from tyranny, fought and won a revolution to create our own Constitution and laws. There can be no
