Save our Democracy while we can
To: Rep. Joyce
From: A constituent in Johnstown, PA
February 5, 2025
I am begging you to consider the oath that you have taken to the American Constitution and the responsibility that you have to your constituents. Please either sign on as a co-sponsor to the existing bill for impeachment or write your own for impeachment. There are so many possible reasons for impeaching president Trump at this moment. It can be for the actions for ethnic cleansing in Gaza, or for any of the numerous violations against the Constitution of the United States such as appointing random people to enter confidential areas, attempting to eliminate parts of the federal government without a safe from congress, and redirecting funding that has been approved by Congress without consulting Congress, etc, etc, etc. Regardless of whether or not you agree with any of these actions that he has taken that is simply not the point. If you agree with them fine he should allow you though to have a say by putting them before the Congress as is required by the Constitution and our role of law. Currently he is governing as a dictator or as a king and that is simply not the form of government that should be in existence in the United States of america. You know this and I know this however president Trump seems to have forgotten it. We simply must remind him before it is too late and we lose what we have left of our Republican Democracy. I am begging you to take what power you have left to save our country. Please don't do this for us do it for our children our grandchildren and future generations. I would say what's at stake and make some comment about I could have somebody primary challenge you in the next election, but honestly I'm not so sure there's a next election to even make that threat so I'm asking you to do the right things so that you can run and get in our next election. (Don't worry about parties. I know enough of people in each). May God bless you and the United States of America.
