Congress must clean up their internal mess

To: Sen. Marshall, Rep. Mann, Sen. Moran

From: A verified voter in Salina, KS

December 28

Maybe I'm confused about how this works. My friends in government right now sign thousands of pages of ethics documents while their every move is monitored. They live in fear of crossing some line. They have never been more interrogated and policed for their every decision, profoundly aware of possible sanctions for one missed mark. They feel the heat daily. Meanwhile, brazen fraud, racketeering, perjury, extortion, robbery of billions, forced injury of the citizenry, and much worse, seem to be unpunished. Whether it is Fauci, Walz, Birx, Pence, or countless others directly involved in conspiracies against the people, and all their associates known and unknown, they are living well with no fear and zero repercussions. Indeed, they are celebrated by the media. Is this entirely ideological, namely that the pretense of "progressivism" gives you a get-out-of-jail card for life, whereas trying to clean up the system puts you under the microscope? Such is a system more Soviet than we want to admit.
