I vehemently oppose the “detention camp” proposed in McCook that has the absolutely horrific nickname “Cornhusker Clink.” I find it abhorrent that you support the illegal and indiscriminate kidnapping of immigrants without due process and have offered up Nebraska as a place to keep these poor people. Immigrants are the backbone to our society, and legal or not, only want to make a better life for themselves and their families. The Trump administration continuously spreads the falsehood that all immigrants are dangerous and violent criminals. No. Trump is the dangerous one. I do not accept this garbage detention center into Nebraska and I expect you to fight against it — and FOR the constituents you are supposed to represent.
