I am disappointed (but not surprised) that you voted against S.J.98 today. It’s clear that you don’t care about the rights that the Constitution bestows on Congress; you would rather do Trump’s bidding than do the job Texans voted you in to do. Our troops don’t need to be in Venezuela and never should have been there in the first place. It’s obvious by the presidents own words that this invasion was about oil, not drugs or harm to Americans or even the harm Maduro caused his own people. Shame on you for turning your back on the Constitution and your duty as a Senator. Do better.
