I request that you hold a town hall meeting to hear from your constituents ASAP. You are about to vote on a spending bill that will decimate Medicaid. Our elderly in nursing homes will suffer, as Medicaid covers more than half of all nursing home residents. It covers 41% of births in the US. It covers 8 of 10 children in poverty. But it appears you'd rather give that money to Elon Musk and the handful of billionaires. Scrape from the poorest of the poor to give to the rich. As a physician and a human being, I am horrified. Hold a town hall. Hear what the people think. We are outraged.
